Grantmaking Process

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Ruth Nelson Family Foundation!

RNFF accepts letters of inquiry (LOIs) on a rolling basis. To submit an LOI, please log in or create a new account through our grant portal. All applications are by invitation only.

GLM Applicant Tutorial

We use the Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM)  from Foundant Technologies for application submissions. Both written and video tutorials are available from the link below.

Types of Grants

We want to meet the needs of our partners with flexible and responsive funding. We will consider funding for general operating or program support, capital campaigns, capacity-building, and program-related investments.

Timing

If your LOI has been submitted and approved, you will be invited to submit a full application. Generally, we consider grants four times per year: February, May, August, and October.  Our grant portal will clearly state all application and reporting deadlines.

If you would like to review the Letter of Inquiry (LOI), Application, and Reporting forms, you may find them here:

Questions?

If you have technical questions or questions regarding the general grant process, please contact Nikki Sharp, grants manager. For questions regarding your proposal, you may contact someone from our program staff.
