Affordable Housing

Ruth passionately served on the Tulsa Housing Authority Board for 27 years and saw housing as a key element in a family’s long-term ability to succeed at home, work, and school. The need is greater than ever. While much of the country is experiencing a housing crisis, Tulsa is especially challenged by low inventory of affordable housing units. Tulsa needs 8,500 new affordable housing units by 2036 in order to meet demand.

“I can’t tell you what a thrill it is to see these beautiful buildings, trees, grass, and a place people can call home.”
